DAAD worked with owner and chef Corey McEntyre to transform the Big Green Automotive building into Milo, the brick-and-mortar extension of his successful food truck. The original 9,600 sf building held an automotive shop with 20-foot ceilings and a bank of garage doors; the perfect blank slate. The building’s steel frame, complete with surface rust, remains exposed in places. The restaurant is airy and inviting, with expansive glass and muted colors. It features a pastry and coffee counter, bar, and wine room. The project was executed cohesively to reflect the refined culinary presentations.
