The Renonvation of the Old Ezell- Shriver Home for the offices of Baron Dowdle Construction was an extensive renovation included a complete exterior and interior overhaul. The existing siding and ornamental detailing was repaired as close to its original glory as possible. New elements introduced to the structure were intentionally detailed to be be in contrast to the original architecture such as awnings, canopies, signage and gate. These elements were exquisitely detailed in powder-coated steel as to not overpower the historic character of the house, but rather complement it in a quiet contemporary way that is intended to communicate the interest of detailing and construction of its occupants. New mahogany windows and doors also introduced a warmth and modernity to the assemblage.
